Creativity Hypnosis - How You Can Use It to Overcome Writer's Block

If you have ever suffered from writer’s block, you know how frustrating it can be. It feels as if you are simply watching time pass you by - all the while you are completely unable to string together the right words for that term paper, speech, or business presentation. If you want to put an end to your writer’s block, you can do it with creativity hypnosis.
How does hypnosis help?
The term “creative juices” isn’t just a nice catch phrase; you really do have an innate ability to be creative. When you suffer from writer’s block, the problem isn’t that you can’t think of anything to say. Instead, the problem is getting those “creative juices” to flow from your subconscious mind and into your conscious one. If they cannot flow freely into your conscious mind, you will not be able to access them, and you will feel completely “stuck”.
During a creativity hypnotherapy session you will be guided into a trance-like state, and your consulting hypnotist will have full access to your subconscious mind. That’s important because your subconscious mind is where most of your thoughts, feelings, and actions come from. It’s also where your “creative juices” live.
Once your subconscious mind is accessed, your consulting hypnotist can identify exactly what’s causing your writer’s block. Creativity hypnosis can do several things to solve your writer’s block woes:
1. Lower your anxiety about getting the project done
If you feel stressed and anxious over completing the project, you will be too wound up to be at your creative best. By calming down, your “creative juices” will flow more freely between your subconscious and your conscious minds.
2. Eliminate your negative self-talk
That little voice you hear in your head telling you that you “can’t” or that you’re “not good enough” is negative self-talk; it’s the silent conversation you have with yourself. Those negative words set you up to fail and prevent you from accessing your “creative juices”. By getting rid of them, you will have access to your stored-up creativity.
3. Get rid of your tendency to procrastinate
Many people suffer from a lack of creativity simply because they put off the project for too long. Then, they’re so busy scrambling to get everything done that their “creative juices” are not easy to access. If you stop procrastinating, you will be able to relax and let your “creative juices” flow.
No matter which area you focus on, your creativity hypnotherapy session will likely incorporate a lot of visualization. By producing specific images of success and relaxation, during your creativity hypnosis session, it can help unleash your “creative juices” even faster.
